My love of makeup started at a very early age, 5 to be exact. I would watch my mum apply her makeup then sneak back into her room later to apply my kajal eyeliner before heading to primary school.
My entire family are doctors so being the rebellious sibling, and the fact I can’t stand blood, I pursued a profession in the beauty industry. At the age of 17 I graduated from the Joyce Blok College of Beauty Therapy in Auckland, which I loved. It left me hungry to learn more about makeup so a few years later I packed a bag and moved to England to enroll at the Dawn Cragg College of Film, TV and Special Effects.
The intensive one-year live in course was amazing and yes very expensive, (thanks mum and dad). It consisted of everything from the blood and guts to the glitz and glamour. The biggest gift the course gave me was my love for photographic and wedding makeup, which I now specialize in.
After more than 20 years in the beauty industry my passion for making clients look and feel good continues to grow. Whether you want a bee venom facial, or beautiful eyebrows, I look forward to meeting you.
